Pitbulls are perhaps the most controversial and violent dog breeds out there. Typically, people are scared of pit bulls – there’s so much controversy and taboo around adopting these dogs. Needless to say, the stigma also follows around pitbull mixes, specifically due to the power of their jaws. 

After all, these dogs have a significantly strong bite force. At the same time, the breed has a terrible reputation for this reason. 

Truth be told, pit bulls are loyal, loving, and super goofy. Interestingly, these are also great nanny dogs. All they need is the right amount of training and discipline, not to mention lots of love, to make them the best breed out there.

Fun fact, pitbull is not technically a breed – it’s more of a title for dogs that are mixes of bulldog and terrier breeds. Yes, the most common pitbull is the iconic American Pitbull Terrier. 

Identified by the UKC, American Pitbull Terriers don’t have official recognition from the AKC. In fact, the only kinds of Pitbulls that the AKC recognizes are Staffy (Staffordshire Bull Terrier) and AmStaff (American Staffordshire).

Bull Boxers are one of my favorite Pitbull mixes, large owing to their playful nature. Both its parents are loving and goofy, which makes the Bull Boxer a great pet. But there are some considerations that you need to take into account. 

These babies need active families since their bodies need lots of physical activity. As a result, if you reside in a large space, it is best not to adopt a Bull Boxer or Pitbull Boxer Mixe. Also, you have to take them to the park or an open space to play and run around every day. 

2. Beagle Bull (Pitbull Mix X Beagle):

• Height: 18 to 20 inches
• Weight: 30 to 40 pounds. 
• Problems: Epilepsy, Hip Dysplasia, and Kneecap Dislocation.

Mixing a pit bull and a beagle can yield a loyal and outgoing puppy. These highly intelligent dogs tend to get bored very fast. Moreover, these babies need plenty of training and physical engagement.
