LaPerm

The LaPerm is a relatively new cat breed, emerging in the United States in 1982. They are distinguished by their wavy to curly coats, which can vary in length and color. LaPerms are highly affectionate with their family members and can thrive in households with or without children or pets. Originating from barn cats, LaPerms are active and require regular exercise and play. They enjoy interactive games and cuddling, with a preference for purring over vocalizing. LaPerms are curious and adaptable but can be prone to health issues like patellar luxation. Grooming is moderate, with regular brushing required.
