Oscars are large, intelligent fish with strong personalities. They can recognize their owners, and some will even bond with you and fetch food. Oscars do live up to 20 years, so they are a long-term commitment. They also require a lot of space and clean water, but if you have what it takes to be Oscar’s owner, their engaging behavior and interactivity make them a truly cool aquatic pet.
