immediately for an urgent and essential surgery Because of them she is home and healing The follow up care was above and beyond Dr Stone obviously cares deeply about the animals he treats and every conversation he had with us along the way was straight to the point and left us feeling both as understood and informed as we possibly could be If you are looking for a vet clinic that feels like a small town family doctor s office Mountain Vet Hospital is it We will never go anywhere else as long as their doors are open and we recommend everyone we know with fur babies to do the same Thank you patient It was worth the drive from Seattle Veterinary surgery facilities near my home were too busy to book my dog s surgery promptly Since they are swamped with business there is no motivation for them to be kind and patient on the phone Mountain vet is AMAZING You can tell the vets there genuinely care about your animal My cat has a UTI I called literally every vet in Whatcom County except mountain vet because I didn t know they existed and every place was like no sorry can t see you we re fully booked But mountain vet got her in SAMEDAY like literally 2 hours after I called I was about to have to take her to the emergency animal hospital so thank goodness for Mountain They not only helped my cat they saved me tons of money by not having to go to AEC Thank you so much team at Mountain Vet We could not be more grateful to Dr Stone and to the remarkable team at Mountain Veterinary Hospital for taking care of our cat after she fractured her femur Following seamless communication with his team Dr Stone scheduled our cat in for same day surgery and kept her at the hospital at no additional cost to closely monitor her recovery We felt completely at ease entrusting our cat to Dr Stone s care He and his team were wonderfully kind caring and professional throughout her surgery and recovery even providing us with twice daily post-surgery updates Three weeks later our cat is happy and well on her way to a full recovery Thank you Mountain Vet for providing excellent humane care to our pet at a fair price In my 17 years at the shelter I can t count how many times Mountain Veterinary Hospital has assisted the Whatcom Humane Society with cases beyond what the shelter has the resources to handle Numerous dogs and cats still have all four legs thanks to Dr Stone s orthopedic work But beyond the great technical expertise what really makes this veterinary hospital stand out is how much they truly care for the welfare of animals No matter how busy they are when the shelter has an animal in need they make time to help us with it And it s not just a quick procedure and done The team follows up with diligent after care to give each patient the very best chance of full recovery plus they often help find the animal a new home Amazing vets and front desk service I moved to the area in December and read a lot of posts about insane costs of care around town A friend recommended me to Mountain Veterinary and I ve been so happy with the service Affordable friendly and so caring We adopted a puppy with a tooth issue and they were the first vet out if 6 total that was able to properly identify and take care of the issue Then when a follow up infection occurred they responded incredibly quickly to my email inquiry regarding it got us in right away even amongst a snow storm and treated him again My husband raved about Mt Vet from when he lived in the area and took his Greyhounds there Now that we re back in the neighborhood I understand why he was excited to be able to bring our animals there again Highly recommend Saved Bailey my Chihuahua s life after she got bit by a German Shepherd puncturing her stomach and her kidneys were protruding from the wound They charged half what the other veterinary places wanted to charge and even offered a payment plan They made the extra effort to call and check up on her after her surgery Dr Stone is a highly skilled Veterinarian He took care of our beautiful girl Bindi for almost 13 years 4 years ago she was lame and needed surgery on her knee or she would not be able to walk and we would have to put her down Dr Stone explained our options we chose stem cell therapy It worked better than we could have imagined When healed you would have never guessed that she had a problem If it weren t for Dr
