Bettas are small, colorful fish that are native to Thailand. They’ve got stunningly beautiful, flowing fins and come in an array of vibrant colors. Bettas have big personalities. In fact, many bettas owners will tell you about how their fish loves showing off or swimming to interact with them when they approach the tank. Male bettas can especially be aggressive towards other fish. Especially if you own dozens of different varieties of breeds of lonely bettas. For precautionary measures, you can keep these in a different tank
