Tips for Grooming A Siberian Cat

Siberian cats look so fluffy because they have a triple coat, which means that they have three layers of fur for protection against the harsh Siberian cold.

But despite having a triple coat, Siberian cats don't require a lot of grooming. They should only be bathed if required and not more than once a month.

Use a combination of a metal-toothed comb, slicker brush, and soft brush to untangle a Siberian cat’s thick fur, remove loose hair and matting, and a soft brush to distribute the natural oils.

During the molting season, which usually occurs in late winter and summer, Siberian cats shed a lot. You should brush your cat daily when they are molting to avoid matting.

Dental health is essential, so make sure to brush your Siberian Cat’s teeth several times a week.
