Unfortunately, with every passing age, the bone density of dogs decreases. Therefore, you need to provide your dogs with the required calcium intake.

In addition to calcium, egg shells contain plenty of phosphorus. Phosphorus definitely helps in dogs’ muscle growth, blood coagulation, and nervous system function.

There is one more way of preparing eggshell powder. First, preheat your oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, you spread the eggshells into a sheet for baking. Bake it for not more than five to seven minutes. The eggshells will turn light brown. After this, grind the eggshells in a coffee grinder or food processor. Your eggshell powder is ready. You can store it easily for around two months.

Whenever you are feeding your dog’s food, make sure to add around 3/4th of a teaspoon of eggshell powder to your dog’s food. As with any new food, introduce eggshells gradually and watch for any signs of allergies or digestive issues.
