When Cheeseball started growing from a little pup, we realized that he had started to develop a very strong cent. Wherever he walked, there was a strong odor. 

Cheeseball is my 5 year old labrador. When I brought him home, he was a tiny ball of fur. Hence, grooming him and taking care of him was a lot easy when he was a pup.

However, as he grew, things became a little different. Though he had become a lot cuter, he slowly turned into a stinky, fluffy baby.

Our entire family remained concerned about the coat’s health and the overall health of Cheeseball.  We know that no dog should be bathed daily, as this will scrape off all the natural oil from their body.

But we lacked much knowledge about the alternative solutions that were safe on this coast. In this article, we will discuss all the alternative solutions that would not be harmful to his coat and skin.

Odor generally tends to stick more to fabric-based products. Thus, washing them on a daily basis is very important to keep things fresh.

We generally use pet-friendly detergents and disinfectants to keep things clean. This keeps Cheeseballs healthy and prevents irritation caused by environmental allergens

Always look for products made with antimicrobial, odor-resistant materials. This helps to keep the odor at bay.

However, People generally do not prefer to cover their sofas with sheets that do not really go with the interiors of their house.

Just like everyone else, we also did not want our costly furniture to be covered by ugly-looking sheets. However, when Cheeseball started using the sofa, it slowly started to smell terribly.

Then we realized that we had to cover the sofa and couch with upholstery that is made with stain and odor-resistant materials. 

Use upholstery that looks nice and can be put into the washing machine on a regular basis. This will help you to get rid og the constant odor.

5. How To Get Rid Of Pet Odor In House With  Baking Soda And Vinegar?

Baking soda and vinegar are two of the most suitable components to get rid of dog odor. 

Moreover, we have noticed that Cheeseball often starts scratching when we use certain types of detergents, disinfectants, and other cleaning liquids. 

Thus, we have realized that his body interprets all these things as environmental allergens. Hence, that is when we realized baking soda and vinegar can act as great cleaning agents.

These things do not generally have any effects on the coat and skin of the dog. You should wash all the materials, including the upholstery materials, with the help of Vinigar.

Add vinegar to the washing machine instead of adding detergent while washing materials made of fabric.

You can sprinkle baking soda on the carpet. This process will remove the odor from the carpet without using water.
